We lost our Boston Terrier, Rudy, when he was 10 years old. We were so sad and knew that we wanted to get another Boston Terrier right away. We stumbled on the MATBR website one night while searching for Bostons and found this 2 year old little glrl who was named Russia.

The process went quick for us and found ourselves meeting her face to face within a few days. She was sweet and friendly, we instantly loved her! We ended up adopting her that night.

On the way home had already figured out a new name for her -- Gemma! It seemed fitting for her personality and if you've ever seen Sons of Anarchy, you know who Gemma is!

Gemma blended in with our family easily and we've had a lot of fun with her over the years. She is a little dog with a BIG attitude! We quickly learned that her favorite toy is, by far, her frisbee! She LOVES to fetch and will not stop until you make her. She loves to cuddle on the couch whenever we're watching TV, in fact, she's not happy unless she's literally on us! She has a few quirks that we could never figure out and seems to have some scars that won't ever go away, but we're so happy that we were able to rescue her and give her a great life.

Gemma is 9 years old now and just as spunky and energetic as she's always been. She's the goofy, bizarre, fun loving, crazy cousin in our family! I'm forever grateful the work that MATBR does for these great little dogs, so happy we crossed paths!
