Violet (aka Lemon) is a puppy mill survivor, who I adopted in August of 2021. She had recently had a litter of puppies, and was very very scared and shy when she arrived.
I had never dealt with a puppy mill dog and learned quickly that is takes lots of time and patience but with a regular routine and lots of positive reinforcement, she has become such a sweet, loving dog.
One of her favorite things to do is sit on the couch with her 2 brothers, and watch shows with dogs in it. Her favorite show is "All Creatures Great and Small" - she will literally sit and watch the whole show, with a lot of head-tilting when the dogs or puppies are on.
Just this week, Violet has ventured into my lap when we are watching TV - she is stiff and unsure but feels confident enough now to come up.
She loves to play in the now, throw toys around the yard, and chase her brother.
Violet has blossomed into a beautiful girl and we love her very much. Thank you for letting her join our little family.
